My first ever DSLR

Bought myself a canon t2i for christmas... The camera kit and the canon 55-250mm telephoto lens for $798.99!! The kit itself usually sells around $799-850. I was amazed about the image quality this camera brings out. However, I experienced a few downsides when shooting video: Image darkens/lightens when zooming in and out. The slowest shutter speed is set to 1/30th of sec. And the battery drains very quickly. Still, there are ways of working around it, such as using faster lenses and a battery grip. Most of my time was spent during postprod using apple compressor. Which im now getting used to. Anyways, below are test shots from the canon t2i taken around San Diego. The first video was shot in chula vista and spring valley. The second from december nights of this year in balboa park.
